Septiembre, es una de las mejores épocas para los aguardos de Jabalí, sobre todo en nuestra zona y después del calor tan insoportable que hemos tenido en el mes de agosto, donde algunas noches no hemos bajado de los 27º C. Y ataviados con la ropa de camuflaje, máscara… ¡Se ha hecho duro!. He tenido que echar mano de bebidas energéticas, para combatir la deshidratación.

Ayer por fín, una noche con temperatura agradable, incluso no sobraba una manga larga finita.

Como siempre esperamos a que caiga el sol, para prepararnos e irnos al puesto. Se nota muchísimo que le hemos quitado ya casi una hora de sol al día y a las 9 de la noche ya tenemos noche cerrada.

La noche en esta ocasión ha sido muy tranquila, aunque con algún momento emocionante. Nada más ponernos de aguardo escucho una piara de jabalíes, que tengo fotografiada, en el arroyo que tengo a escasos 30 metros, es gracioso, porque cuando vienen en piaras, vienen como elefantes en cacharrería, se nota que los primalones y los rayones les preocupa poco o nada eso de ser sigilosos.

El aire lo tengo de poniente, pero en algunas ocasiones de norte, creo que los hizo desconfiar y no quisieron hacerme la visita de rigor.

La noche fue demasiado tranquila, cierto es que teníamos mucha luz de la luna y viento casi cero, estos dos factores a nuestros amigos los jabalíes les hacen desconfiar y las esperas son muy largas, porque no suelen moverse de los encames, hasta altas horas de la madrugada.

A media noche, oigo de lejos un tarameo. Enciendo la Go-pro, cojo el arco, lo pongo en mis piernas y engancho el disparador al loop. Todo preparado, por si tenemos la suerte , de que en esta ocasión nos entre. Por como se mueve es un buen jabalí, grande y muy sigiloso, a la vez de extremadamente silencioso. Poco a poco se me va acercando, os podéis imaginar la adrenalina, ya que tiene que ponerse a escasos 5 metros de mi. Lo tengo en el monte muy cerrado a no más de 8 o 10 metros, va andando despacio con pequeñas paradas para oir lo que pasa alrededor. Va desconfiado, no me asoma el hocico y hace lo típico que hacen los grandes cochinos, va en busca de mi entrada, llega a cogerme la espalda, pero por suerte no me pilla el aire, detrás de mi hay un claro y un jaral, lo cruza y se mete en el jaral. No muevo ni un músculo, me duele el cuerpo de mantener la postura inmóvil, pero un jabalí de este porte, como te equivoques lo más mínimo, te pilla. De repente, lo oigo que nuevamente viene hacia mi sobre sus pasos, tras 5 o 10 mínutos de inmovilidad absoluta por ambas partes. Lo oído acercarse por mi derecha sigiloso, pero esta vez vuelve a pasar de largo y se aleja.

Deben de ser las 12 de la noche y hoy nos toca aguantar un poco más porque este tipo de cochinos suele volver a entrar más tarde, pero esta vez me ganó la partida, a las 2 de la mañana decido bajarme del árbol, el sueño y el cansancio nos han vencido por esta vez.

La cámara nos marca que todas las noches, entran cochinos, así que anoche el aire cambiarte creo que les hizo desconfiar.

Es cierto todo lo que comentas . Las noches con mucha luna les dan panico , se saben vulnerables y no les gusta dar la cara . Si ademas el viento esta cambiante y no les favorece , los grandes machos desisten de entrar a comederos , bañas o rascaderos por mucho que lo necesiten .
